I wanted to go to the British Museum early, but my sleep schedule seemed to interfere with that proposition. As a general rule, when dealing with a place that big, I go to my two favorite areas, Greek and Egyptian. I did take a quick peak at the Rosetta Stone. I couldn't actually get within 10 feet of it though as there were tons of other tourists pushing and shoving one-another and I didn't feel like brawling for a picture. The suggested donation is 2 Pounds. If you fail to give at the door, don't worry.. there are donation boxes ever 10 meters or so.

My understanding of British culture over the past two decades basically consisted of the fact that the royal family are the only people of any consequence in the United Kingdom. This is evidenced by the fact that people to this day still leave flowers at St. Paul's Cathedral on the off chance that Princess Diana might come back there and get married again. People completely ignore the fact that this baroque structure was considered an engineering marvel in its time and instead choose to gush over the fact that they are sitting on the very steps where the happy couple walked after their nuptials.
