BRAZIL II: Agora e Louis

Yes, ladies & gentlemen, lightning can strike twice.

"Estimado Louis:
A greatful nation of Brasil once again thanks its favorite American for helping to refill its reservoirs with the rains you brought and stabilize its currency with the cr*p you bought. On your next visit, please accept my personal invitation to stay in the Lincoln Bedroom at the Presidential Mansion in Brasilia. Several governors have also extended invitations for you to visit their states as well.
Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Lula"

To say that I brought the rain with me would be an understatement. I thought I had brought rain with me on the first trip. I was so naive. Brasilia is basically a very FLAT town built in the middle of nowhere to house the Federal Government.  There are no geographic features to hold a weather pattern in place.  But it rained every day nonetheless.

Having been there and done that in Rio the previous year, Brasilia really was the highlight of the trip.  I did finally right some wrongs from the first trip, and of course we made the requisite stop in Cabo Frio to recharge our batteries.
