Louis Stone's European Vacation

Armed with my AAA Europe TravelBook, I made my way back to the Archway Station, walked down the escalator (kinda seemed trivial on the last page to mention that it didn't work, huh?) and boarded a train to Trafalgar Square.  This popular tourist destination has more pidgeons than the entire state of New York.  Sitting down to soak in the atmosphere is, at best, a risky proposition.  The Canadian Embassy  sits here. Somehow I had a premonition that I'd see their Embassy in France and that it would be neat to have pictures of both.

From there, I walked toward the British Government area and saw such wonders as Westminster Abbey, Parliament, 10 Downing Street, etc. I arrived too late to actually go into Westminster Abbey as they finish up tours at 1:30 PM.  I did not go into the Cabinet war rooms as there was a sign saying they were closing early because they were 'sick.'   The public isn't allowed with 100 yards of the Prime Minister's home thanks to all the protestors.
